Tip 1: Keep Your Focus on One Method

One thing I did myself, when I started with Affiliate Marketing, was to start up many different projects. It will always go wrong if you spread your focus on too many projects, so keep focusing on just one thing and make it work. If it works, you can keep repeating that method, but if you reach the conclusion that it doesn’t work, you can move on to another project.

Tip 2: Set Yourself A Goal

Another common mistake is not to have any goals, or have very unspecific goals. Before I start on any project, I make myself a goal. It doesn’t matter if it is “earn $100 by the end of the month” or just “spend 3 hours each day for 2 months”. Keep aiming at your main goal with your project but don’t set the goal too high. A goal like “get rich in one month” will never work. Setting small goals for yourself all the time will always help you, no matter what you are working with.

Tip 3: Follow Your Process and Make Adjustments

Now this is basically about analyzing your progress and your results. If you never tweak on your methods to make them more profitable, you won’t see real progress. The most effective rule in earning money online is always make adjustments. Is your site converting badly? Test other options! Is your AdWords campaign giving low results? Tweak and test it to earn more. This is what makes your options different from big companies; you can constantly make changes to what sells more.

Tip 4: Keep Trying – Don’t Give Up!

It maybe sounds simple, but so many people are giving up before they really try. Change your mentality to never give up, and I am sure you will get success. If you fail at one method, whatever you do, just don’t give up. Try to change some things in your method and see if that works or maybe even try a completely new method. There is so many ways you can earn money online, and I am sure that some of the methods will work for you – just keep trying, and don’t give up to soon.

Tip 5: Make a Conclusion Based On Your Goals

When you set yourself a goal, it is often with a time limit. For example you could have set yourself the goal to earn $100 in November. When November is over, take a look at what you achieved, the things you did and make a conclusion based on your goal. This is the key element in your success with online marketing. If something isn’t working and you didn’t achieve your goals, look at what you did and why it didn’t work. Then make a conclusion – if it didn’t work, you might want to try other methods. If it however worked great, you should look at how to make it better and repeat the method.
